     Check out pilot episode for the Amazing screw on head here. Then go out and buy it on dvd. I read the comic book one shot published by Dark horse comics and loved it. Set in 19th century America , with Abe Lincoln as one of the major characters , this is a classic moment in animation that shouldn't be missed. Cool art and animation for any fan of steam punk.

Steam Punk Report

             I've been reading Boing! Boing! lately ,and it has made me very curious about the steam punk sub genre of sci-fi, I can,t say I know much about it. I'm going to spend part of my time learning about it, and posting my findings on Pop culture battleground. I think I'm going to start by getting the animated film steamboy and reviewing it. I liked Akira and it's one of my favorite animated films. My basic understanding of Staem-punk is it takes the same attitudes of cyber-punk and sets them in a turn of the century setting. I've seen Mike Mignolia's the Amazing Screw on Head and will be reviewing that one soon enough.
